I am a ritual kind of a person. So when it comes to my breakfast I usually never stray from my morning oats. I love them because they taste so great and keep me full throughout the day with lots of fiber, carbs (the good kind) and lean protein.
Peanut Butter & Banana Oats:
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup liquid egg whites
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp peanut butter (make sure you buy one that has nothing added, just peanuts)
1 tsp cinnamon
Add the oats, egg whites, almond milk and chia seeds into a bowl and microwave for 2-2:30 min. Once done add the cinnamon and peanut butter and stir it all together. Finally, top with banana slices.
*can add strawberries, blueberries, etc. as well 🙂
