“I’m a city child, I live at The Plaza”- NYC Photo Diary

This past weekend I visited a friend up in Manhattan, NY. She is up there for an internship this summer so I decided to go and spend a weekend with her as she showed be around town. When we got there we immediately went to SoHo and did what we do best…shop! One of the best parts about SoHo was the Ladurée shop!! They have the most delicious macaroons around and the shop even has a little garden in the back where you can go and have tea. After shopping for a few hours we ended the night at The Standard for dinner (if you are ever in the NY area, I would highly recommend this restaurant!—I got the kale salad and it was to die for). On Saturday, we got breakfast at Mezetto and then headed over to Central Park to spend the day there. First stop was Bergdorf Goodman, basically just to say we were there haha. We both ended up getting makeup for school so that was just icing on the cake! Afterwards, we went to The Plaza (home of the infamous Eloise) and picked up some crêpes to walk through Central Park with. The park was absolutely beautiful, it’s so funny to think that the park is some of the only nature in the city when I am surrounded by it everywhere I go at home. I love New York but I definitely could not live there for a long period of time. I need more outdoor space!! (and an ocean haha)
